I have a 2018 sx195 i play to use airhead bongie in a U shape from center side cleat to center side cleat with role on back against the seats back in rear facing seat.

unless anyone has a better idea?

I just have a rope going from lower grab to the tow point to hold our mat. No problems so far. (Edit) only when going through town. On highway travel it’s in the cockpit under the cover.

Just make sure you secure it well....you dont want to cause this:

Just an anchor line plus a noodle? Does that hold pretty good underway? Mine came with a bungee to attach to the boat while anchoring... I wondered about using that tied to both cleats like you have there.

That bungee won’t hold anything. We have never had an issue, it gets pulled pretty tight.

I have a 6x15 mat that we take for every outing. While trailering, it fits in the isle way of my 21' boat, between the captain's chairs. I send a dock line from one of the front cleats through the middle of the mat coil and tie the other end to one of the captain's chairs set bases, so it won't fly out.

When on the water, we'll either leave it in that spot or we'll lay it on the swim platform and tie it to the ski rope hardware on the back. I've been doing this for a couple years now with no issues.

While underway I have our mat on the upper portion of the swim deck and just have a rope from the grab handle right above the ladder to the lower tow point and it never moves.
