How many keys did you folks get with your new boat. I only received two keys I would think I'd get four. My salesman didn't know and is suppose to get back to me. Unfortunately my salesman doesn't know anything about these boats I had to inform him of a bunch of stuff I learned on this forum. Every time I ask him a question he says idk I'll have to find out.

I got 4 total - two for each ignition.

Thanks I just want to keep them honest. I already told him for 56k I shouldn't have to pay for a second set of keys and I won't one way or the other.

Yup four for a twin

E series.....2 keys

Twice as many keys as you have ignition switches for: so either 2 or 4 keys. On the twin E-Series boats with push button start/stop, there's only one main switch down behind the captains chair.

In case you need some more keys https://jetboaters.net/threads/how-to-get-a-set-of-spare-keys-for-cheap.1890/#post-29262

Yep I found my other set after all. So 4 for the AR 240. Glad this thread reminded me to put those in a better keep safe spot.

I keep one set in the boat, the other set in the center console of the truck, and each set has an extra truck key on it. Just in case... I've read too many stories on this site about losing or forgetting keys.

Following a mishap I had on the water where I lost the key in the water while anchored off of an island I keep keys everywhere. In the battery compartment, in the tow vehicle, at my brothers house, and an extra set at home. Never again

Does anyone know if either key on an sx210 jet boat will start either engine. I have two keys with the same number and I want to get duplicates. The boat is wrapped so I can't check it now. I know they work because my daughter used the boat over the summer, but I don't know if they're interchangable.
Thank You

Tom

My keys are interchangable on my 212x

Thank You

I'm gonna order two more. I'll let you know if they're interchangable on the SX 210 when I confirm.

I only got one set (2 keys total) for my twin engine.

No, my daughter didn't buy it new. She bought it and used it this summer and now it's shrink wrapped. I would like to acquire spare keys however, both keys have the same number. Since they both are stamped with the same number I'm gonna assume that either one will start either engine. We know what happens when we "ass-u-me", but I'll order the keys and wait till spring to see if they work. Just wanted to see if anyone knew if keys were engine specific.

Thanks
Tom
