OK, got it installed yesterday, if we don't have any rain today I will post some pictures.

I had to make some mods and comprimizes but overall I was surprized how quick the rail installation (it does not look bad) went.

A couple of tips and pictures will be on its way.

I am not up to doing another Group buy, but this would be a good one for someone to manage if everyone likes the install!

Following this now, I would be very interested in something like the picture on the yamaha for shade.

@HangOutdoors this canopy is not the one in Julian’s photo. That one is called the Bow Wow which is more like a tent.

I have Element Bow Dodger. I was interested in keeping this up underway but after erecting the canopy unless you are 6’5 or taller ( I am 6’+) you won’t be WOT with this up. So the Bow Wow would have been the better choice for me.

Overall the fit and finish is good. Keep in mind the canopy is not under full tension using the straps. I had and still am making some small Mods to improve the fit. About 64” at the entrance and 36” measured from the seat . My overall opinion is “...it will kill..”. I mean. It will work. For an occasional overnight and sun/ privacy shade

Interesting! How does the edge of the tenty thingy attach to the gunnel? Does the end of the tent fit into a channel that is attached with adhesive to the top of the gunnel? That's kinda what it looks like.

yes you have a 4" wide zipper fabric strip that has a heavy wire sewned in the bottom edge that you thread into the track held in place by #6 screws. You zip the canopy to this strip.

I plan to send better details and install tips when I have some time tomorrow I still have some mods (trim the short poles) to make to custom fit the canopy to the boat.
