1000 bucks.....I think I would rather have a drone....but defiantly cool.

Some of the better drones are $1000 or more!

But with a 24' depth, that won't get you down to the reefs you want to see, although that certainly extends your reach on a snorkel! I suppose there is a market for this, but I don't think it would be for me either...even if I lived on the ocean.

Reefs? Oh yeah, I suppose those would be cool....I was thinking more along the lines of

To augment my tastefully done aerial footage of course!

Not to mention...it would be very useful for surveying hull damage from beneath the boat...you know, so you don't have to go back to the ramp. Yeah, that's the ticket. :winkingthumbsup"

 I think I totally missed the ability of these little subs!

Glassman, I knew there was something special about you. You are a genius!

I think these would be perfect for "perving" if you are into that as they are probably very quiet. With the camera the value is over $1k and recovering one that runs off on its own could be a problem.

Good point. I had my nitro RC car take off on me at the Glamis Dunes. It tore off at full throttle regardless of what the controller was doing. I found it 3 or 4 dunes away upside down, still running full throttle.

Uhh. I was gonna say that thing could help me find my anchor. But I completely like your underwater girl suggestion much better. F--k the anchor.
