R.I.P., Mr. Spock

I once met Leonard in about 1975-6. I worked on the aircraft line ramp as a "lineman", refueling airplanes and towing them for the FBO (fixed base operator). He landed at AMA (Amarillo International, now Amarillo's Rick Husband), in his Cherokee Arrow, 4 seat Piper, single engine (piston), complete with leopard skin seat covers! I was able to converse with him for a few minutes and he was one of the great ones...Good bye Mr. Spock, you brought us a great view of the world and beyond!

Great story @txav8r and thanks for posting that article @MikeyL. Sounds like he was a well liked man by those who knew him really well.

I cant believe he is gone. :(
Hands down my favorite actor growing up. I am not ashamed to admit that I am a Trekkie through and through. He also played a huge role in one of my other favorite shows Fringe as William Bell.

Farewell Leonard.... Live long and Prosper.

Great video with the Bangles! I remember the song but wasn't aware of the video. Check it out

I never heard "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" before....pretty funny! (linked in the first article-but video broken):

Never met him, but loved his characters, and apparently we was well loved by those who knew him.

He was a fellow aviator...but he had starship on his ratings!

I actually like this post. . . . . I just wanted to be @ScarabMike 's first dislike under the new system.

Many memories of watching the original Star Trek and In Search of with my grandfather as a young kid.

He lived long and prospered! RIP
