looks like some competition <Scarab 195>

That fold down transom looks interesting....wonder how solid it is?

Saw this in the parking lot of the boat show in Tampa a few months ago. It had Prototype in big letters on the dash. It was nice. Seemed more of a typical Scarab fun day type boat only with a center console. I think less of a fishing boat. It had a completely different look than a fishing boat.

Hate the tail gate. I would never buy a Scarab after reading through the Scarab forum the past 7 months. I do like the tow rope hookup on the T top.

That transom design is not uncommon in seafaring boats, but not sure I would ever want it closed up in a 19fter. Wonder if it is included in the LOA?

Will it fit in a garage? Huge selling point for the FSH....

FYI in case you have not seen these yet......opinions?

Interesting, but I think they would have been better off just building it with a permanent deck. This looks more like a gimmick than anything. Looks like there is no ladder either, which will be a down side for some. When it is folded up, it looks strange...I agree with @swatski that I'd probably leave it down all the time. The helm does look way cooler than the FSH....and yes....it HAS cupholders!

Agree helm is not plain like the FSH. It seems awkward in the back on all videos prior to the host dropping the tailgate. They seem to be stumbling around. It actually seems to make the boat smaller when closed. Wish the FSH had more HP though.....

Yeah....wonder how the FSH sales are doing? If well, perhaps they'd move up to a 21' version with twin 1.8s!

While talking to the guys in service during my 10 hour service, they stated that the roomer is a 23' or 24' with duals @2019.

I've said that before, when deployed/down, the tail gate obstructs ladder access completely... Things like that are just plain bad design.

But anyway, is it a fishing boat or a water sports boat?
(kind of like an even more useless HeyDay WT-1...LOL)?
Not a big fan, but i could be wrong.

No competition to the 190FSH. That "tower" does not offer near the shade, the console, while cool looking is too wide for the beam, and the tailgate is great for a party boat, but my 190 FSH is a fishing boat.
