So I've finally pulled the boat off its lift and am going to be taking it to storage soon. I've never lowered the tower and bimini before. I know the boat came with some metal brackets that supported the tower during shipping, but do I need these for winter storage?

Also, does the deluxe mooring cover still work with the tower lowered? Based on how it velcro's to the tower base....it looks like it wouldn't. If it doesn't, I assume I have to go with the shipping cover for winter storage?
