Was browsing the map today....so cool to be able to look up members around here when I see a boat, just in case it is someone on the board. We don't make listing your location mandatory....but there really is little/no risk in doing so.

Reminder....don't forget to add your location to your account settings, and if you add your zipcode it put your anchor on the map a little more accurately (and separates you from others on the map in your area---for example if you Houston Texas, you'll be added to the 2 other members already represented by that Anchor symbol, but if you listed Houston TX 77006 it would create a new anchor closer to where you actually live.

@96Pirate Maybe just the only one with their profile set to show location, or the only forum member on the map...if you meet other yammies, be sure you let them know via card, tire cover, give em a koozie, teeshirt/hat, throw em a football, etc!

Ha ha...it is like the map in your navigation unit you use in the car. It can only display so much data at a time, so to see detail, you have to zoom in!

What OS and version of Chrome are you using? I thought it worked best in Chrome.

I am using Chrome also. I know for a fact that the user map worked for me approximately 1-2 weeks ago. I hadn't used the map since. I just tried it now, and nothing loads for me either. Just a blank screen.

I am using:

Google Chrome
Version 44.0.2403.157 m

I updated to the latest version and it works, for me, in Chrome now.

I didn't update anything but just tied it again and it's now showing up on Chrome. Thanks to whoever did the fix!

OK....we are missing members from two States:
New Mexico - is there any water there to boat on?
South Dakota - is there anyone in SD?

Also, only 25% of our members list a location in their personal details page....come on folks!

I'll pay for stickers for the first members of these states who list an address and reply here! (send me a PM too) (no cheating! LOL)
