More Yamaha Owners then Scarab 215ID

Is it me or do we have more Yammie owners Scarab guys.
Maybe the Scarab guys are just quiet and the Yamaha boys are little more vocal.

Just curious how the orders going for everyone. I was told first week of May but I can’t get a answer if the Ace 300 is available. I have picked out my colour and seat, along with the bells and whistles.

Interested in how the rest you guys doing. I’m gonna have no finger nails left by the time this process is over!

Definitely way more yammie owners. They are much older than Scarabs and frankly, more popular since there are way more dealers that currently offer them.

Ya I can see that. I think both boats are top shelf. I like reading about all sorts but I’m a Scarab guy so would like more discussions on the Scarabs. Lol.

FYI, there's a pretty active Facebook group. I find the forum and the Facebook group both have certain advantages. But they are both worth being on if you have a Facebook account. Facebook Groups

Its just a matter of volume. Yamaha has been the #1 selling boat in the open bow runabout class for years (regardless of propulsion type)....so there are just way more owners. That said, Scarab has, as you point out, a nice boat, so they are selling well too!

The Scarab section here grows more every year! Hope to hear from you! And how about some photos of your boat and any mods!!!

I should also note that the Yammi owners are damn friendly and like the Scarab people.

Like the others said, I think it's just a quantity thing. I was hoping to go Chaparral Vortex myself, but the wife insisted on a bucket and we bought a Yamaha. I don't think you can go wrong with anything of them really.

A pair of 300hp engines should be kinda ok for performance.
