The 4th USS Indianapolis was just commissioned a couple of days ago, and if you look closely at the picture below you'll notice it looks a lot like a High-Output Twin!
The ultimate Bimini-JetBoat will be stationed near Jacksonville Florida

no articulating keel? what are we viewing, the jet boat of McHale's Navy ?

I'm sorry for posting such an unpatriotic remark, after a minute of reflection and realizing the ability of the USA, the articulating keel must be in "invisible" mode,

That thing probably can suck up a large fish and make a nice chum slick

Wow. 3500 metric tons at 50+ mph. This thing is fast. I wonder where they put the clean out ports?

Cobra and JBP, looks like you have a new customer for fins.

@Julian I read the report, I didn't see any mention of the Navy's dislike of slow speed handling OR how other navies kept asking when the U.S. Navy was getting a "real, off shore" boat?

Is that an aftermarket tower? Definitely needs more speakers.

Me neither....I wonder if the engine noise is bothersome?

I’d love to see the Wave Runner those engines came out of...

i saw them on tv or youtube I think there’s a cat style hull too. They made them to chase pirates in shallow water. If I remember right they only draft 13 or 15 feet and turn tighter than any prop boat in that category.

Do I actually get to be the first? Okay, then....."watch out for your rectum or vagina!"

Yes, the Navy has a very in depth training program on that topic, and it uses the Yamaha warning label as the basis for the course.
