I am a long time boater but never a jet. I am to look at a new 2015 Scarab 165 Impulse tomorrow and if I like it I will have a demo/shakedown ride in the next few days. I have spent quite a bit of time on the forum and really learned a lot. Sure appreciate all the info. Will keep the forum updated.

Came this close to pulling the trigger on a well priced used orange 2014 Scarab 195 HO Impulse. This close!!!! But then wound up with a Red Yamaha. I still think about that boat sometimes though. Good luck shopping, and

I looked at the 165 Impulse today. It is a NEW 2015 and is loaded. However, it does not have the Digital Speed Control Package. The salesman told me this could be added. Can anyone confirm this? It sure sounds like a valuable option. Its a beautiful boat and I'm so happy I can get last year's Yellow color!
