I was just talking about Torch Lake with a co worker who is a UP native. I've got to get there someday.IMG_6161.JPG

According to Google Maps, there is at least one Yamaha frequenting that sandbar. What an amazing party that is. The photos are all over. But a beautiful, big body of water!

I'm looking at doing a long weekend there next summer, maybe 5 days or so, my cousin just got a 2018, 212x and wants to go along. So I'm going to be looking at some place on the water with a dock and tear up that lake for a few days. If you're interested. It's in the prelim stages to not sure of a week yet. I know it won't be july 4th.

Where did you find this and why have you been hoarding this info? ?
Winnebagoland my man, Chris ordered it for me. It was great to meet you. I'm sure we'll hook up this summer and boat. Sorry we had to run, couldn't leave the kids hanging.

Hi. Long term powersports fan, but first time boat owner. Never posted in a forum before, looking forward to boating with other jet boaters as I know very little about making the most of a day on the water. I am reserved, so hoping to see what these awesome Yamaha boats can really do. Not sure if it is showing up, but I have a 2018 212 Limited S. Put about 20 hours on it last summer; mostly on Torch Lake in Michigan.
So, I'm trying to book a place on torch lake for mid-august 2020. So far, I'm getting the "we usually rent to our regulars first" answer, I did however find a couple places on clam lake that look interesting.

Check out Sugar Lake outside of Grand Rapids, MN. It looks like you are in the Caribbean. Shallow sand bars, but depth of almost 100 feet through most of the lake. Sugar Lake lodge has cabins, townhouses ad a lodge with 2 restaurants, plus an 18 hole golf course. Great for a multi day trip.
