Hello Everyone,
Just put my deposit down on a 2017 AR195! Coming from a 2001 Seadoo Challenger 2000 (200hp optimax sport jet) this AR195 should rock. Dealer says it should arrive at his dealership (Southwest Marine) Grand Bend, in November. Did like the 212x but the cost and the fact I can fit the AR195 in my garage makes me happy. With the kids older and doing there own thing the AR195 should be plenty of boat for my wife and I. I got my name on a black/yellow one! It's going to be tough looking at it in my garage with snow on the ground come November but come spring I'll be all smiles! Love reading the forum!

Welcome... looks like a great boat... you will have a blast next summer.

Hey thanks Dan! Funny thing is that I've been reading your posts on getting your AR195! You must have been so excited when you found out the 2017 AR192 in fact was a 195 with sweet upgrades! I'm driving my wife crazy already about this boat eh!

It was a great surprise... And yes my wife has had enough of my jet boaters forum updates all summer..;) we got to take her out a couple of weeks ago for 1 day... Fall is here now so I think she will be going in the garage in a few weeks:(

Funny how you already got your boat and had some time to enjoy it! In Ontario none of the dealers have them in the showrooms yet. Glad you are enjoying yours!

Welcome and congrats on the new boat @Buoy23 This winter has the potential to be the "longest" winter of your life. Having a shiny new boat sitting in the garage would be tough!!!

Congrats on the new boat. Where will you be boating? I'm up on Lake Simcoe.

True!!! But on the bright side i can do all the mods that i've read about on this forum....change out the trailer bow roller....install interior led lighting....replace the trailer rims with custom ones....put in a second battery and i'm sure i'll learn of more mods on this site. :winkingthumbsup". oh and one more thing, put on super charger decals that i have noticed are missing from 2016 model. i want people to know what i've got under the hood!!!:woot:

I'm based down near the Windsor area but my parents have a cottage up the road 100km near Rondeau Bay and Lake Erie. We do have a nice water way between Lasalle and Amhurstburg that i like to run on. i've already got vacation plans to Tobermory and the French river next summer.

Dan, did your wife have any issues with no passenger bucket seat? My wife noticed the Ar195 has a bench seat. i won't even consider the SX195 as an option!!!

Our previous boat had dual captains chairs and it took up so much room.. she likes the bench seats but I have to admit I have to warn her that I'm gonna drop the hammer so she can use the grab handle under the glovebox

Congrats and welcome!

I know your pain. I have a deposit down on a 2017 AR195 also. My wife and I went through the same problem with the captains chair or the bench. We eventually settled on the AR195 because of the wake board tower and the sturdier bamini top. I think the bench style does offer more room and a place to lounge. We will just need to remember to say "hold tight" when taking off!

True about the extra room with the bench seat. I was told the passenger captains chair takes up a lot of room. Can't wait for my dealer to call me when the boat gets delivered. Might be as long as next January. Just want to see it!!!

Wow! January! I guess I don't know your pain. Would you be able to use it this time of year? It's 72 degrees and sunny today, but I know as soon as I get my boat it's gonna get cold. Dealer is telling me tomorrow or by next week for delivery.

Get some pics and get them on here as soon as you can..

I will be adding pics soon. My problem is the boat should be delivered about a week before the flooring I ordered. My 1st mod. The dealer I used is installing the seadek for me for free. Located about an hour and a half away. I may drive over there to test drive it and leave it there until the floor gets installed.

It gets worse!!! Deposit down and probably won't see the boat till January but not going to pick up till May 2017! Not going to start paying for a boat that is going to sit in my garage till May when the Great Lakes thaw. Dealer will store and hold till then. I will have to just dream and watch all the fun my Southern friends on this forum are having with their AR195's. Please keep posting those pictures of your boats and the mods you are doing!:winkingthumbsup"

Sounds like a good idea. Get that end of season pricing without the storage fee. Not that much further south than you. If I get out 2 times before winterizing it I'll be happy.
