Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum. It's been a wealth of knowledge. I currently have a 1979 Sea Ray SRV190 that I rebuilt {new transom, stringers, deck) and I've used it for about 10 years now.

Joined the forum because I've been lurking for a while and go to the local yammy dealership to drool over the jet boats there. Love the styling and roominess. Hope to move on up to a boat from this century soon!!!

Obligatory pics, because if there isn't a picture, it didn't happen, right?!

Welcome! I grew up riding on my grandparent's classic Sea Ray, so I always appreciate seeing one that's being well cared for. It's something to be proud of. New boats are fun though! I hope you are granted your heart's desires soon.

Thanks. It's been a great boat. Got my family on the water. But now we have cousins and daughters friends, so need more room! Thanks for the good wishes

OMG...Is that real wood I see on your bow? That's a labor of love. Welcome aboard @yjander.

That's teak baby! Lots of brightener and teak oil to bring out the color. The inside has teak highlights as well, which are a PITA to keep nice looking. I do miss that touch in newer boats.

Good luck and nice boat. In I’m Vienna Georgia tonight. Finishing Myron Mixon’s BBQ school tomorrow. It’s hot down here, and these Nats suck. But beautiful country and very nice people.

@yjander Welcome and happy hunting! That boat looks very similar to our family's first boat. Not the same make, but the same layout and color. Ours was an "All Seasons Imperial", made in Indiana.

Thanks for the welcome. I rebuilt it and documented most if it on another forum. Search 1979 Sea Ray srv190 deck/foam and you should find the thread.

I would love to have bow seating and also better handling in the channel of my local lake. I really like not having a boat payment though, so we'll see how long that lasts!
