Welcome aboard @Dieselmore and congrats on the new boat. You've come to the right place to learn about your new boat. Glad you found us. What lakes do you plan on taking the boat out on?

Congratulations on the new boat! And Welcome :Welcome:

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new boat, I see you have a nice 6.7L tow rig as well. I am up in Prescott Valley, we go to Lake Pleasant on day trips and longer trips we head up to Lake Powell or Lake Havasu.

First time out was last Saturday @ canyon lake. I live in San tan valley Arizona, so canyon and saguaro lake are relatively close to me.

But I would like to go to all of them haha..

@AZDANSX230HO you can't beat a 6.7 ford!

Indeed great engine. We should get an Arizona get together at one of the larger lakes like Powell or Havasu, did this years ago on the other forum, I think we had 12+Yamaha's in Havasu that weekend.

We should that would be awesome. Are there a lot of members from arizona?

I keep watching youtube videos of the Bimini trio and that looks amazing

Dieselmore you will fine that Canyon Lake get pretty small really quick for a yamaha; unless you are just slow rollin:). Agreed AZDANSX230 - we should do an AZ gathering. Agreed that Pleasant is a good lake but on the summer weekends it gets pretty crowded and now that they have closed off the northeast river access area due to debris :( it makes finding a calm place that is not already taken pretty difficult. (NOTE: I live 15 minutes from Pleasant). Now Bartlett Lake is a really nice  and not all that busy of a lake on the south/marina side launching at jojaba ramp. The north area near Bartlett flats get really busy with the jet skiers - nice area and several cove area to tie up and float.

See you on the water -:winkingthumbsup" I will be on Pleasant for the fireworks on July 3rd.

Looks like your kid knows the right place to be.

"Lets go already!!! I wanna tube dad!!!" Enjoy @Dieselmore your family will have a blast!

New to jet boating as well. Have my boat at Lake Arrowhead, CA. Would be up for a trip to AZ if you guys ever decided to put together a run at Havasu

We should definitely plan up a Havasu gathering. @Glassman

Out of Bartlett, Saguaro, Pleasant, Roosevelt, Apache and Canyon:

The family favorite is BARTLETT.:winkingthumbsup"

[flag]Bartlett - only issue is when water level is low, only the main (jojoba) ramp is open which can get crowded. - Nice coves for anchoring or floating and just hanging out:thumbsup:.

Canyon gets small rather quickly. It is a pretty cruise up the canyon though.:)
Saguaro is tough to get on the water unless you are there before 1100 or after 1800 - there is the sand bar up the river if its not over crowded.

Pleasant - Gets really crowded - the only lake in the west valley unless you travel 2.5/3 hours to parker or havasu - it also has some good coves and hanging out areas.:winkingthumbsup"
Roosevelt - its a good drive to get there, not all that pretty, not many coves to hang in.:(
Apache - Trip is not for the faint at heart. Winding dirt single lane road - difficult when another vehicle is approaching from opposite direction. The is basically a river - 17 miles long; however there are several good coves to hang out in. :)

Now there is also PARKER - HAVASU - MOHAVE - and a nice place on the Colorado River heading towards Vegas on 94 (WILLOW BEACH).

Hope this helps out all the AZ folks on here. (Yes my family has been to all of them) we did not get the boat for it sit and collect dust/dirt.

Enjoy the AZ Waters - always have PLENTY of SUN SCREEN on board.
