@robert843 Lily and ONAGOFly are marketed as self piloting. ONAGOFly has obstacle avoidance and is light enough to avoid licensing requirements. The negative is that it is too small to work well in wind.
In theory you simply throw them in the air and let them follow you around. When you are ready to land you press a button and it comes back to you. I will review ours when it arrives and let you know if it lives up to the claims.
I do believe that your DJI Phantom is a more capable video platform. Especially since you can add stabilization devices and use different cameras and lenses. For semi professional usage I would want a Phantom for professional usage I would want one of the higher end DJI quad copters. But for occasional usage I believe the self piloting features of the Lily and ONAGOFly are more appropriate.
