What was the water temperature?

It rained almost continuously the entire weekend and air temp was a high of lower 60s. Water was between 69 and 71 all weekend and starting to climb when the sun finally came out late Monday afternoon.

Water was a cool 62degF on Saturday. It's late getting warm this year. 3yr old was being a ham on the back deck with his water bucket!

it was 100 degrees, one thing is certain, I’m not taking the boat out again until I get the new Bimini top installed.

Are there homes on the the lake? I don't see anything available on VRBO

We found a cabin on airbnb. The property is (a steep) walking distance from the boat launch. My highlander just made it around the sharp curves and steep gravel slope with the 190. I can imagine that drive being very hard to navigate with a larger boat. With the ground sloping on all sides, I also did not feel confident unhitching the trailer. There's an ice cream shop down the road from the launch that has some numbered parking spots that say 'storage'. Unsure if they rent those out to boaters but there were a couple of unhitched pontoons parked there.

I’ll bet that’s 1.5 hours from me by boat - it’s a big lake! We drive through that side when we visit our daughter at LMU. I think it’s Beach
Island Marina we pass.

Ya Beach Island Marina, Bubba Brews restaurant is awesome at that marina btw. My dock is right around the corner from there
