No, i didn’t know anything about that until I came here afterwards looking for Info on the best way to get the rope out. Of course that led to replacing the impeller bearings, found the grooves on the starboard side drive shaft, then I pulled the sparks plugs and made sure no water made it that far up.
Since then I have found I can’t get either of the clean out plugs to come out and the starboard side motor will not crank. It will turn over fine but will not fire off.
 
You can tie a rope the the plug handle, attach it to a car Jack and lift the plugs out. I use a board to put across the clean out plug opening and put the Jack on top of that. It could be your impellers are stuck and not allowing the motor to completely turn over.
 
Not really my last outing, just got in the custom gatorstep for the RTIC 65 cooler and next outing ?

Got it from gatorstep. Fits on top of engine access with sliding seat moved up one notch- heres the old blue cooler in the spot

We’ve been up to Fremont twice over the past two summers and it is an absolute blast.
