The only saving grace for me is that one of my best childhood friends is the head mechanic at the local FOrd Dealership and he has done a great deal of the repair work on the side and gotten my parts at his cost. He has also indicated that while the vehicle has some real common issues (power windows, air suspension compressor, power running boards, etc.), that the number of issues I have is not normal to what they have seen. I still love the look and function of the vehicle and most people think it is new when they see it. I have a 117k miles now and would like to take it to at least 150k if possible. It is used as a second vehicle now and we only put about 8-10k miles per year on it. Hopefully I can get on a stretch where it doesn't require much work.Sorry to hear of your issues.
