Hi, I need to replace the reverse cables on my 2004 SX230. I am trying to determine the proper length.

According to @Julian 's writeup, he chose the 17' reverse cables. https://jetboaters.net/threads/how-to-replace-reverse-gate-cable.28/

The cross reference (from @Bruce ) , though, gives the 18' part numbers for the cables. https://jetboaters.net/threads/seastar-teleflex-steering-systems-and-cables.10706/

Does anyone know for sure which is correct? Or, maybe the 17 will work but the 18 will be easier to work with?

Thanks!

Bruce has a 2007 model, mine was a 2005....different hulls.

Ok... The spreadsheet shows both the 2005 and 2007 models using the 18' version, thus my confusion...
