It looks like my optional pad options are:
I definitely want the engine step-over kit. Still thinking about the others.

Does anybody have the boarding steps which places seadek just in front of the windshield?
I'm wondering if it makes the boat less safe as it encourages one to step there whereas in the factory condition I never step there because it seems too precarious.

And how about the bow mats? Do you find it useful there? That's not a place one should be walking around anyway.

Thanks.

I have the step over mats and I think those are totally worth it especially if you have kids. I also have the mats on the bow and that comes in handy with my son as he likes to sit up front and jump off the bow he has a little bit more traction to do so. Other than that they’re probably not very functional but they work for that purpose as well as picking up the occasional friend at the dock if you need to nose in.

I have both as well and agree that they are convenient for traction purposes plus protect those areas form wear.

I have boarding steps in front of the windshield, and also the bow mats. Highly recommend all.

People stepping into the boat naturally seem to want to step on that spot in front of the windshield, so I think this makes it more safe.

The bow mats are for my kids that love to jump off the front. SeaDek adds a lot of traction. I also think they look sharp.

I have all three sets for my boat, though the bow boarding steps are not installed, as the tower mounts there on my older style AR; I got them as part of a package deal that was cheaper than not getting them, so I've been thinking about cutting them to clear the tower mounts and using them just for looks, or finding another use.

I agree with the other posts that the step overs are definitely a must have, and I personally love the bow mats; my son will frequently jump off from the front to swim, and they have saved me from at least a couple of gouges when approaching a high dock nose-on when the lake was low and choppy. They also give the pup a bit more traction when he wants to stand up there...

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I’ll get all three!

I don't allow people to step on the seats, so no boarding at the windshield or bow area. Stern boarding only, and no shoes allowed either. If you won't take off your shoes, you don't get on my boat!
:p

You know I feel like adding some at the rear of the tower for when taking the boards of the rack would be an awesome place. Wish jbp would make it for that area. I’ve slipped a few times trying to step up there

You mean like this?

Get them all.

Exactly. I couldn’t find those in their site anywhere though
For 19 foot Yamahas:

Click on the mat schematic image to make it larger and you'll see 4XA to D in the image.

Unfortunately for me, these don't appear to be available for 19 footers prior to 2019, though...

Well darn, you are correct sir. That sucks. I love these pads

That’s what’s sad. I have a 2018 and desperately need those pads when I’m stepping up to get the wakeboard off the deck so I don’t slip like I’ve done before

I have them all now too. Now before people board the boat I point to the Seadek and say...."you can step on anything that looks like this, please avoid stepping on the seats - especially the center of the seats!"

maybe directly ask @JetBoatPilot

Sorry, that was just a link to the site with the current model and figured you'd look for what you need for your model. Same goes for colour choices. For older model 19 footers:
