My first like ever. That was before I noticed that missile on the right / starboard wing is off the rail. If there was an awesome button I would have hit that instead.

I did several incentive rides, mostly enlisted troops or cadets in college but on occasion a local reporter or big wig. Always lots of fun. Especially when they start puking when the gear comes up, but even better is when they tell me to keep getting after it no matter how sick they get. That's what I call heart!
 
@Julian I think the pic said it was in a training exercise...makes sense...I don't think these boys are taken selfies in combat....they be a little to busy at that time...LOL

Unfortunately we don't shoot a lot of AIM-9s in combat anymore. Enemy fighter jets generally stay parked on the ramp because they know if they fly, they die. So instead we destroy them on the ground. Lose, lose for them.

Thanks for posting the video...we all know how fast fighter jets can fly....did you see how fast that missal left it.....
 
Wow I was a little nervous about looking into this post..title "selfie". I've seen some of you guys..yep a little scary.. but I was pleased with the content..so far that is..:confused:
