7 Inches of rain in 12 hours. Plus the Fox River from WI is way over flood stage., making it's way down through The Chain O' Lakes. There is suppose to be piers under there somewhere. And... It's cresting tomorrow afternoon and rising another 18"s before it's all done. Gotta head out and retrieve my buddies boat, somehow! You can see some of the boats being pulled sideways from being still tied to the pier.
Awesome!! I'm jealous. I am a 2 tank a day kinda guy. You dudes that do 4 tanks a day are CRAZY!!!! My routine is usually a deep dive at 9:00 then a shallow dive at 11:00 or 2:00. Luckily it only takes the dive boat about 5 minutes to get to the drop zone. My daughter essentially got her advanced on our vacation. She hit 105 feet, did a night dive, did a multi depth technical dive, and did a dive with 4 swim thrus. It was awesome!!

Oh trust me, I'll be completely worn out after the two days. She is a diving nut - last year she went on an 8 week shark conservation program to Fiji. It will be hard to impress her in the Keys. I do love having a daughter dive buddy!
Are you getting ready for football season? I think I recall you being a fellow referee.

Yep. Started clinics and took the TASO test a couple times. I also join the CFO through our TASO page in order to use their training videos and take the CFO tests. Fall scrimmages are in a couple weeks. I can't believe it's already right around the corner! You getting ready?

Yup, putting together the rookie official training and association meeting outlines. Starting back into the rule books and Redding giude. Our meeting start the 8th of August and first games are on 9/1. We are woefully short of officials it is going to be a rough season!
Blue berry season has started at our farm in northern Vermont. We have been working in the field for the opening day on 7/19. If any of you JB.net folks find yourselves in my neck of the woods, come on over to pick a free quart. We offer 10 vareities and pick thru mid August.

My son waiting for me to push off after a late lunch on the water. Oh, had to get gas from the station on the street since the marina gas station was closed, ended up having to buy a gas van as well. Great day on the water with my boy.
We pulled into our marina and saw this. The owner who couldn't have been more than 30 years old said that he just got back from Miami on Friday with it. He said that it was the first time he was launching it. He said it was made by Nordic Boats and it had twin 1500 HP engines. A lot of people gathered around just to hear him fire the engines up and when he did you could feel it. I boat on a river here in SW Pennsylvania and in no way is this a river boat.
Not something I witnessed first hand but still think you will find this interesting. Looks like the "motorcyclist" and "witness" were working together or at least planned to. This is a good argument for installing a dash camera.
