Customers finding some monster sized blueberries on our opening day this year. A lot of them competing to find the biggest. I think I won. Home field advantage
After several hours the boat and truck are prepped for early morning departure for a much needed week long vacation to Panama City Beach, FL. Going to swing by @JetBoatPilot store while I'm down there to say hello and meet him and his team. Also going to pick up my new engine hatch seat kit from him (no more stepping on the seat!!!). Picked up plenty of salt away and a galvanized spare wheel and new tire. Also bought some new tires for the truck. Will probably run into @Rod5 and if anyone else is going to be in the area look for me around Shell Island. Hoping the weather holds out for some decent days on the water!
Finally, after what seems like 2 1/2 months of wet weather we finally got 5 days without rain. I know I should be out on the lake, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I really needed to make hay while the sun shines. Thursday I cut the hay,Tedded the hay for 2 days, with the ground so wet. Raked the hay into windrows and baled hay today. After we close the blueberry field tomorrow at 2pm, you will find us on the lake with the Yamaha. Thats all I can think about now.
A Jetboaters worst nightmare. @Michael Kruger and myself ran a 70 mile poker run and docked at Emerald Grande in Destin Harbor. Wind/current pushed all this up around our boats.
