Judah, Jimmy and Incubus, what a great night. Backstage and pretty close seats.

Here is a pic of the air conditioner I made for camping last weekend. It took some tuning (a $40 fan from Home Depot) but I finally got it to work correctly (after the $25 in dry ice evaporated). Going to Make a more permanent solution with a 5 gallon bucket and cover but building this one killed some time while the squatters got kicked out of my reserved camping spot (yeah I had to have a large family evicted but that's another story).

After some heavy rain here's what our marina looks like, we don't dock our boat but do dock 2 sea doos here. The river usually starts about 25' from where the dock starts to turn slightly left. The guys work there and were working to secure some of the docks. When I drop my boat in the front of my truck is about where the back of that boat is. These pics are from last night and a friend of mine who docks his boat there sent more pictures and the water is above the slide platform in the lower pic.

My baby's stowed away at my new lake house. Or, will be mine in a few more days anyway... The large Morton building may/may not have played a huge role in my decision to buy this particular house.

After work yesterday we went to Thayers Beach in Colchester to have a snack. This is one that Willow saw...IMG_20170730_172019541.jpg This place is very popular with a lot of boaters from many different places. I saw boats from of course Vt. and N.Y. but also Ma., Me., N.H., Quebec and yes even one from Fla. here. A few pics. There was a Bassmasters tournament on the lake this weekend but none of these are bass boats.

I love those guys whose boat is longer than your truck AND your boat together. Cam.

We went out in the Yamaha yesterday and had a lot of fun. It was a 2 paddle board day at the beach. Put on the mask and fins to scrub the hull, and when I got under the boat, there were 4-12" smallmouth bass under there with me. I know its just a fish story until you show pics. but we did not bring the go-pro and I do not trust the ip rating on my s7 edge. We also met another Yamaha owner from N.H.

Saw this in Harbor Springs, Michigan on Monday:

Sorry, could not get the whole thing in my frame! I've not seen a bigger private yacht on the Great Lakes. Monaco? Yes. Lake Michigan? No.

This is a databased yacht:

Owned by Dick and Betsy DeVos (he is one of the two Amway founders, billionaire, she is current US Secretary of Education). Note, they also own a similar sister ship. Must be nice.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous as all hell but, what do you do with a boat that's way too big for the weekend and way too small for the ocean? The English Channel would toss that yacht around like a cork. If I had that kind of money, I'd book cruises like we book movie seats.
