LOL, dude in the video at beginning says he's not obnoxious, but in the background you can see burnout marks that start in the garage and go all the way into the driveway, and yes, that guy is obnoxious. I had to stop watching after 1:30.....OMG. I think I've seen that same wrap in a Main Event bowling alley.

The first one I’ve seen on the road here in Northern CA, with a hot woman driving it, she caught me staring at both so I didn’t feel comfortable taking any more pics. 2020 generation 8 Corvette.

Doctor at the hospital i am working at has one and i didn't even realize what it was at first!

That is some scary sh!!!!T. Florida is the lightning capital of the world. Nothing to mess with.

No doubt! There was lightning popping with this one but not once it got on top of us

Very strong storms rolled through Destin while we were out Tuesday. Gave the opportunity for a great pic ? @Inthrustwetrust you were probably still at work. ?

Great picture! I took the week off, I had family in town, this was Monday afternoon just west of Brooks Bridge looking at Hurlburt. Waited for that to pass and ran the boat wide open back to the Navarre ramp. Got the boat airborne crossing a offshore boats wake. My mother was not impressed haha!! We were at the Gulf Breeze zoo during that Tuesday, we got a little wet, well very wet, made some for good memories though.

Takes us about 35 minutes from 98 bridge back to Navarre ramp. I assume that’s Brooks right there by Adventureland Marine? That’s a long haul looking at clouds like those! Did that last year over the 4th. That lightning will make you pucker.

Ya we were right in front of that park in Ft Walton Beach where that photo was taken, I was pulling my daughter in the tube for the first time over by spectre island and saw the darkness in the distance. I was going to get everyone in the boat and punch through it back to Navarre but I checked the radar and decided to retreat East. Turned out to be wise, it was a nasty cell. There was decent hole in the radar behind it, we made it back in 20 ish minutes, only got a little sprinkle. Waves were massive at the Navarre ramp, there was a solid minute or two I didn’t think I was going to be able to get it out.

That looks awesome and terrifying at the same time. It would get me way past pucker in person, more like unexpected mud slide/just toss the underwear in the ocean. Glad you made it back safely, probably with a hell of a good story and pics to back it up.

That's it, we took a vote and we're are changing your name to Clark Griswold
I would have felt like Clark if the beautiful woman driving would have reacted the way christy Brinkley did to Chevy chase in that movie. Chevy got the hair flip, lip lick and blown a kiss. I’m pretty sure the hot woman I saw was scowling and preparing to flip me off while showing me a diamond on her ring finger worth more than the Vette she was driving. What was Clark’s son’s name?

This is what I currently see, what do you think I see?

Something to fix that fricken gate post in your sideyard to keep it from shredding your boat covers? Priorities.

Went to test fit the new SHADE curtains Willow made for the outside of the cabin top for the Beneteau. A slightly different material was used than the ones seen on the Yamaha. Phifertex® Plus Vinyl Mesh White 54" Fabric - Sailrite These make a big difference on a hot sunny day by keeping the cabin much cooler. The boat came with black internal spring roller shades but don't do much to reflect heat or give privacy at night. You cannot see in the boat thru these, even at night. And I can look directly at the sun thru them, I cannot without. If these had been used since new, I bet there would have been a lot less crazing in the acrylic portlights over the last 29 years. Now that they fit well, we can install the snap caps on the shades and the snad bases on the gelcoat. YKK® SNAD® Clear 25mm Adhesive Backed Flexible Base Stud - Sailrite

Below you can see how crazed the acrylic portlights are.

Both pictures below are shown with the factory black shades drawn over the portlights.

I’m sure grandma and grandpa will have a great laugh with my daughter over the years remembering the day. Honestly my biggest concern was if we had to retreat further east and weren’t going to be able to get back to my truck (more storms were building behind that one) how I was going to get my truck/trailer to the east side of the bay to pull the boat out.

Better late than never. Fertilizing the Blueberry field this morning, for next years crop. Best thing is...I get to push a 300# wheelbarrel of this around, well at least to start.
