I just saw a Bobcat run across our driveway 100' in front of me. By the time I got the phone out, all I saw was this.

Let’s play “who can find Tully”. I was upstairs. Heard a bunch of noise, yelled down at her and then spot her looking at me like, “what?” Excuse the mess. It’s a puppy ya know.

I was loving the fact our kids were getting older and there was less toys to pick up. Now we have the wiener dog and the German shepherd puppy, we have more toys on the floor than when all three kids were little.

I've been in medellin colombia for a week now. Here's a few of many photos. So far I've been to many places and my vacation has been absolutely amazing. I'm so excited that I will be here for at least another month to enjoy everything the city has to offer. It's my first time traveling alone and the freedom is incredible. So easy to talk to women and I already have a lot of fans so I'm always accompanied by someone ;) my spanish is getting very good and people laugh that I have an accent from my time living in brazil lol

Fri- arrived here, my friend's dad picked me up, had lunch, then I met friends in Laureles for peruvian food
Sat - walked around Poblado/Provenza and had breakfast. Went to Comuna 13 with a tour group. This is a newly revitalized area that has a history of violence. Now its beautiful with art, hip hop dancers, and is very touristy. Theres still evidence of bullet holes in the walls
Sun - went to the mall and bought clothes with a girl that I met
Mon - went to Guatape with a new friend. This is 2hrs from medellin with beautifully painted houses and a large rock to climb. Ate mango biche at the top. At night went to a club to dance typical colombian music
Tues - Went back to Medellin. Met my friend Natalia and her friend for a cultural exchange and club in Provenza. Met a girl there
Wed - Girl on sunday invited me to hike with her friend. Beautiful view of Medellin. Tried a traditional colombian drink, had dinner
Thurs - went on a coffee tour. Picked coffee beans, saw the process, ate lunch at the farm house, tasted coffee. Then went back to the city and met the girl from Tuesday for free salsa classes in a club
Today - dropped off my laundry: only $4 lol. Taking private spanish lessons soon and later meeting another girl for dinner.
Tomorrow - going to my next airbnb, 10th floor overlooking medellin with a large balcony with grill, table. and a rooftop pool

To windy for the boat. This is the next best thing.

I frequently photograph a family of three eagles down the road from us that you guys probably get sick of seeing. Today, there were six hanging out in the same tree. They weren't making it easy for me, but I got a few good ones. The fine for disturbing bald eagles is $10k, so we keep our distance. I'm at least 200' from these guys. The visitors are probably from some Canadian lakes that have frozen over. With the Seneca River running through the south end of our lake, there's almost always a little open water for them to fish (although we're still at 0% ice coverage right now). Sometimes we'll get more than a dozen that will visit for a few of the coldest months. And over 50 that will congregate on Onondaga Lake (20 minutes away) where the wastewater treatment plant keeps one small section of that lake open all winter. Not counting the visitors, there are approaching 500 nesting pairs in New York State. Not a bad recovery, considering the fact that there were two eagles in the whole state when I was a teen back in the 70's.

Looks like you are living the life!

And I'm not leaving yet! I have an apartment until March, but I got it in Airbnb so the price is too much. I can get a very nice apartment for $1000 a month all included. But they typically have 6 month minimum and ask for a lot of colombian documentation. I would like to return to USA in May. I can't stay longer anyway because I can only get a maximum 6 month visa.

Still in medellin. The adventures continue..
Friday - went to dinner with a girl in Provenza then went to a roof top with a pool and a DJ
Saturday - woke up early and went to the airport to pick up my friend. Her and I went to Parque Explora and the botanical garden. Checked in at my next hotel. At night went to Poblado for Peruvian food. They had live music.
Sunday - Went to a castle tour then to Plaza Botero (don't go here!! It's not safe at all lol) went back to my airbnb and enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the roof.
Monday - Took the bus to Guatape and rented a motorcycle. The last and crappiest motorcycle they had. Drove 1hr in curvy mountain roads to a small town and hung out at a swimming spot/waterfall. Crazy experience driving a motorcycle in a small town. No stop signs and it's chaos. Then I got pulled over by cops at a checkpoint and didn't have my passport. Lucky he didn't mess with us.
Tuesday - Went to my favorite cafe in Poblado then hiked up to Pueblito Paisa (it's a replica town of an old colombian town, in the middle of Medellin)
Wednesday - back to work. I'm in my next apartment for the next 33 days. Went to another event to meet people and learn salsa dancing. Then went to a "discoteca" or club with my friend in Provenza. We've danced in a lot of places so we have rythym and dance everything.. salsa, bachata, reggaeton etc
