I’m done with weather. We had a great long spring here and now we are paying the price. Currently on 12th consecutive day of excessive heat warnings.
Supposed to golf Friday afternoon, might die.

Most people are probably astonished by the highs, the lows are what freak me out!

I went to Phoenix a few years back for work. I swear it was so hot I thought a small bird was going to land on the blacktop driveway ant my hotel and turn into a chicken nugget. I didn’t know why I wasn’t sweating, and they said I was but since it’s so hot it was evaporating before it beaded up. Southwest isn’t for me!

Just head southeast then. The heat/humidity will have you soaking with sweat by 8am if you’re doing anything involving physical labor.

I’m in central Florida now. I’m that guy who wakes up my neighbors by cutting the grass at 8:00am before it breaks 90 degrees.

We are all talking about the heat. From experience I can tell you to be sure to stay hydrated. In dry heat you can tell how much you are sweating by the salt on your skin or shirts. And by the way if you don't stay hydrated you can end up having IVs into your system. Don't ask me how I know.

I have a fridge in my garage with water and beer. 9/10x the water is actually more refreshing than the beer in extreme heat.

@zipper , the news I see states that most of Vermont is flooded. What difference from the West Coast, I don’t think any rain is expected in the forecast until November.
