My new 12x12 overhead door installed today, with electric opener, remotes and keypad.
One hell of a door, hurricane rated and R16+ insulated and tongue and groove panels

Rainy evening on the boat. Lightning had struck near us and I went up to see what was going on.

My CoWorker was a chief in the Navy (submariner) and was stationed on the Saudi border working for the Army (as he says he was Narmy paid) and said it was always 115+ sometimes over 125. Said he never turned his truck off just to keep the air blowing as cold as it would for as long as it could. He said you get used to it until the air changed and blew in from the gulf and then it got hot and humid and was even worse.

Sounds like the Palm Springs / Salton Sea in CA when I was growing up … it was common for it to be 120+ in the shade during the day and it would cool down to 105 at night. My Dad used to install pipe lines down in El Centro and Brawley in the late 60’s and early 70’s in those same temps during the summer, he and his crews were such studs..

I’ve been working on a new swing the past two weeks. Was hooking the ball bad with mid irons and small hook with wedges. I think the new swing is starting to pay. 52 player field today. Finished -3 Net Score. I’m happy so I’m gonna go drink some Desert Chardonnay for dinner and I’m sure I’ll play like shit tomorrow with a mild hangover.

What a view! We're taking our 5th wheel from NY to Lake Tahoe and back, later this year...but not until boating season starts to wind down.

Twins crossing the road this morning.

That 4 axle trailer looks like a clickbait ad.
Debating on if the RAV-4 would be able to pull it a couple miles to the ramp. Should be ok but might need to double check the tongue weight.?

Not the prime but a hybrid so I’m pretty confident she’ll pull the 20k with no problem.
