I’ve put this off almost as long as I could and will likely take the 3 to 4 hour online class before next season. Interestingly, my son got his card when he was 16, it was the first year it was issued, he is 21 now and has never been asked for it over 100 boating and jetskiing trips. IMG_6445.png

When I was near home yesterday I saw this and thought at least it’s as hot as it is going to get per the forecast.

When I got home, almost five miles later I saw this and realized the forecast and I were wrong.

A bit sporty walking out on A dock west, a concrete wave attenuation dock, tonight. We are riding it out pretty good compared to the mono hulls fore and aft of us.

We left a paddle board in the yard last night. I step out the door to run the dogs and see this.

She wants to go paddle boarding. We taught her young in 2017.

This one is for @Ronnie. Two blondes arrived in this antique today to pick blueberries.
1970 Stingray. I don’t see Corvettes in the field that often.

Another motor on the bench. The intermediate housing, shaft and pump bearings and housing destroyed so figured take out the engine to make my life easier cause customer also wants every hose clamp replaced with a stainless screw type. And of course the 4 motor mounts are completely destroyed. Was a rental ski that was beat up. He got it cheap but now doesn't make sense now that by the time he pays me it doesn't seem like such a great deal. This is an 18 vx deluxe with 800 hours

That would be a hard pass!

Its all easy money to me. Just up to the customer to decide how much he is willing to dump in this ski. His bill is up to roughly 3700 bucks and he said do it.
It will be 100% when i am done. And he will pay with a smile

Wife bought a seat for our Isle paddle boards. I strapped it on the 11'er and headed to the beach yesterday.

She wanted to get to the beach quicker so she grabbed a line on the dinghy and held on for the short ride.

Once there, we had lunch and paddled around some more.

Are you sure this engine did not see any sub marine duty in its past?

From the look of the corosion line is most definitely took on a lot of water. But compression is great and i pulled the valve cover and it was very clean. And every electrical connector i took off looked great as well.

Well I've been part of this group since 2018, I remember being on the metro of NYC going to work, reading this forum, and looking at boats. I thought it was stupid to buy my AR192, 28 years old, just starting off in engineering. It was the best thing I've done and I bring with me tons of amazing memories. I have no regrets and I've been nothing but blessed. I had my AR192 for 5 years and then recently upgraded to a 242 Limited SE. I never had problems with either boats and I absolutely loved both boats. But my plans have changed because I started living in Brazil at the beginning of COVID, then in Colombia while working remote. My plans have changed and I decided to cut expenses, stay in Colombia, and start investing in real estate. I sold my RAM 1500, my 242 Limited SE, my mountain bike, (in just 2 weeks) went to Colombia, signed a lease on a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with 2 balconies $1150/month. A ton of changes in the past month, but I'm now sitting on a lot of cash to upgrade my BMW 118i here and buy a studio apartment to put on airbnb. I have furniture on the way and I already looked at a 2019 BMW M240i. I probably will continue visiting this forum and someday I will get another yamaha jet boat when I have some passive income. I want to thank everybody in this group, I've had tons of hobbies over the years, participated in many groups, and this group is the best. I always tell people that the friendliest boaters have yamaha jet boats lol

The last photo of my 242.. I hope to sell my 2022 BMW 118i soon and upgrade for like an additional 6k on top. Already looking at doing a Stage 1 tune, they say 420HP. Tons of mountain roads to enjoy here

IMG_6470.jpegThis is what I saw after forgetting to turn off the solar pool heater.

I wonder if there’s an app that can help me determine how long to run the solar heater or aerator/fountain to keep the pool temperature within a specific range (e.g. 85 to 90 degrees)?
