Congrats and welcome to Jetboaters.net! Were glad to have you! Three words...Practice, Practice, Practice. Before you load up and take everyone out. It is just a different animal and your life will be easier if you have a few hours of loading and unloading, docking and leaving the dock, maneuvering in tight quarters. If your loaded with friends and family, especially the kids, you won't practice. Many times it is calm in the morning and windy in the afternoon. These boats are harder to control with windy conditions...until you learn to make them your B _ _ CH! And that takes a little practice so you know what to expect and can anticipate what it will do and how it will react. Don't be shy, put fenders out bow/mid/aft and on both sides if your pulling into a slip. You will be a pro quick, but you need to practice. Now, go have fun and post up pics!
