How many people have mounted a spare tire on their trailer and how did you do it?

Mine came with a spare. I thought that this was standard equipment, or are you talking about adding another spare?

I got the galvanized trailer with our FSH and it didn't come with a spare.

Spare came with my trailer. Here are a couple of pictures of the mounting. IMG_20170128_170734.jpg IMG_20170128_170747.jpg

Thanks, that helps a lot. I got a spare tire and it didn't seem like there were many spots to place it.

It seems like you definitely need an angled mount... That was for @ClemsonTiger

No problem if you need any more pictures of the mounting just let me know.

Thanks everyone for your help. Here's a pic of the mount I got with my spare tire. It doesn't look like it will clear the hull unloading and loading so I'll be switching it out for an angled one. Also if you order guide poles for your aluminum trailer, make sure you order the extra long u-bolts.20170130_173112.jpg

I had to angle mine with a aluminum custom piece that i made and it work for me.

That's exactly what I was wondering. Great to hear that you did that and it worked! How far did you shim out the top?

Thanks @OUT ON THE REEF that pics great. Didn't want to spend more money for different mount before road trip in 2 weeks.
