Speeds for tubes and wakeboards

So, new to this all. Will be getting a 2009 212X and I'm wondering what speed do you pull tubes and wakeboards at so you don't kill the passengers?

Wakeboard: depends on the rider skill and weight , but 14 to 23 mph is a range from child beginner to pro.

Keep an eye on the rider and see how they are doing.

Tubing, we are anywhere from 10 to 15 mph... don't have to go fast to get big air!

Thank you! At 10 MPH does the 212X need frequent steering corrections? I've been told, but not yet experienced, that at low speed you need to frequently correct the course. Nature of jet boats. I'm not sure what low speed is in regards to that and waters ports though.

Usually between 0 and 8 ish mph the steerage is pretty vague and the tendency is to overcorrect. After that it feels like any other boat.

For a tube, faster than the wife wants to go and not quite as fast I want to go

Tube speed depends on the rider and type of tube. For the huge 4 person tube with teens I'm usually at 20mph.

Wakeboarding 15-18 for teens. Depends on how big they are.
