Nice pic of your boat at Powell @sysinu ...Makes me look forward to the boating season. I swear it's 70 degrees outside in Salt Lake Today. What is going on??? The skiing sucks...but I did mount my 200khz/50khz transducer on my boat today!

I know. Right?! We went to the boat show and I was considering why I wore a light jacket. Got some looks at some new boats and got a bunch of new life jackets .

Looks great! How tough was it, any tricks or recommendations? I have ann additional pair sitting on the work bench waiting for some time to install.

Thanks for any insight...

I took the boat out today !!! it was in the 20s last week but hey, no winterization, no problems, it was so great to just hook the batteries up and load the gear, took my two daughters and friend for an hour and half of gas burning!anna emily grace 2.JPG emily driving boat thumbs up.JPG truck and boat.JPG

jawsf16 .....I really wanted it to be a little farther forward.....like directly under the grab bar, but after examining, the cleat is right behind that location and I was worried about depth. In fact, when I finished cutting the hole for the speaker, I freaked because it didn't look like it was going to be deep enough, but is worked out ok. Same story on the other side. I wanted the speaker just in front of the throttles, but once again......the cleat was behind it. I am putting it between the cup holders, but having to build a bolster that contours the combing pocket. I have the bolster made, just have to cut the hole, fiberglass the bolster, paint and install. Should look something like this when finished:

Thanks for the info. I was concerned about the drivers side too. I think you have to build some type of ring to install. That is what is slowing me down from tackling this right now.

Completed my dual battery Modification today.....was gorgeous 68 in February....I don't always experience 4 seasons in 2 days, but when I do its in Virginia....lol

Well, since its still 70 degrees in Salt Lake today, I did the "Tow Valve" mod in my cleanout compartment location so that I can flush the engines while moored in salt water, etc.

Im behind on all the mods i want to do, I bought some TV,s XL (thanks will good price and good fit) I installed them on Sunday the 8th. and since the weather was almost 70 degrees out my first mate and I had to check them out!20150208_122459.jpg 20150208_132004.jpg 20150208_132526.jpg

@Jebinok looks good! I put mine on last Saturday. You don't realize how big those things are until you see them in person.

Not sure if it counts, but I upgraded my boat. Got rid of the 18 foot Seadoo and replaced it with a new 2015 AR240.

That absolutely counts. :winkingthumbsup"

MODS - can this guy get some bonus trophy points for this?

I put in a zipper door on my shrinkwrap today. Fortunately South Valley Motorsports had one in stock. I'll probably start on some of my mods (at least the ones that don't require access to bilge or the tower) over the holiday weekend.

Got the wheels, new tires and all new hubs installed. All that's left now is installing the Hydroturf on the fenders and fender steps and I'll be picking her up!
