Never personally used this, but I'm a carpro brand fan. I'm fairly brand agnostic, BUT I find I have more carpro products in my arsenal than anything due to the fact they just flat out work. All of the ceramic coating installs I do I use carpro coatings. Just their marine one is for their certified installers only. So, I had to branch out. Thought about going with gyeon, but not the biggest fan of their paint coatings, so went with shine supply as I know a lot of full time pros that rave about the brand.

This is from the brand of coating I just put on my boat. Also to be fair I haven't used this one. Since this is the brand coating I put on my boat if I was to personally buy one it would be this one.

Got it! Appreciate the info.

I shoe-horned my 15 AR240 into my 8’ garage opening.

I didn’t have a problem except for the tower light and tow point. I wasn’t sure how to get it completely off so I took the light off of it and lowered the tire pressure to 20 psi and it rolled right in. If I could have removed it I wouldn’t have had to do anything but lower the tower and roll it in.

This winter I will adjust the nuts on the the tower cable adjustment and that should make it as easy as just lowering the tower.

the Trax TX6000 made it easy and low stress.

Pulled my boat out to finish the ceramic coating of the interior. Also pulled the mats, and the bimini to put in the shed. Found my bimini mounts almost completely loose. Yikes!

Also cleaned up the engine bay and treated everything with CRC.

Not today but this week I installed one of two speakers As well as a keel shield and new registration and personal decals on my wife’s waverunner. More pics to follow.

@suke Please put me on the short list of buyers when you get ready to upgrade.
You bet!! I wouldn't have even upgraded if my neighbor hadn't been asking to buy my boat for a while. I've been eyeing the 255xd, but want to wait a few years to see how it really performs in real life. I'm OCD about my stuff and normally am able to get top dollar for things when I go to sell them. Granted I don't price gouge, but normally always get full book value for most things.

Posted this on my install thread so forgive me for cross-posting LOL! But installed my 6.5” Kicker LED speakers with 500W Bose amp and LED controller. Back in September, but I was too busy enjoying them to make a post ?

ran a CAT6 Ethernet cable around the boat to tie the LEDs into (wires inside CAT6 already colour coordinated so made things easy), snd used existing speaker wires. Sounds AMAZING. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade small boat sound system. Cost me just over $500 at the end of the day (CAD so about $25US ;) )

only have pictures of blue lights but rest assured, all the colours work interchangeably!

dropped off to install new cylinder head after months of waiting.

Fingers crossed I eliminate milky oil like [HASH=3752]#swatski[/HASH] went through.
Engine only had 148 hrs when I bought it

Finished “winterizing” them. That is, put imitation damp rid (from the dollar store) in all of the compartments of the boat and waverunners, covered the boat’s normal vented storage cover with a shipping cover and the covered waverunners with a tarp. Stabil is already in the full fuel tanks and lines and all three on board chargers/maintainers are plugged in.

I’m grateful to have had an odd 2020 boating season at all and am hoping 2021’s boating season will be a lot closer to “normal”, it should start for me around May 1st (roughly 6 months away).

Brilliant!
How do you like the TRAX? It looks like you have a bit of a slope in the driveway, does it pull/push up easily?
With my driveway angles, I threw in the towel and got a front tow bar, but did not install it yet.

I wouldn't have been able to do it without the Trax! As long as I kept it slow, it just chugged on in. I would say that my driveway is on the edge of the incline limit, without more tongue weight.

I installed SeaDek/Garmin echomap UHD 74cv.
Installing the SeaDek went a lot smoother than I thought. Changes the overall look of the boat. Blue Led light strips for those night time rides.

That shrink wrap is amazing! Look air tight. What does that run you?

Was $340 all in, including a zipper door at the back. The door is reusable, so next year will be $50 less. They did a really nice job on it, it's got a few vents scattered around to help with moisture, and I still need to go put some damp rid buckets inside. Will be nice to be able to get in easily on nice days in the winter to work on things, or heck just have a beer inside with the radio on - lol.

I've used shipping covers the last three winters, even got a new one last year but it apparently leaked like a sieve, opened it up in the spring and everything was wet with mold growing, so figured I'd give wrapping a try.

Wow, I'm impressed! Had no idea. Love the fact you can get in it to do "whatever". This will prevent surprises in the spring.

Not technically my boat, anymore, but got to work on my old boat. Not quite as clean as it was when I owned it. Oh well. Getting a single stage correction and ceramic coating, with a helluva lot of cleaning on the interior and engine bay. Nearly done with the polishing. One side left and I'll throw down the ceramic coating inside and out. Also ripped off the old numbers that were on the boat and installed new numbers.
