I installed this guy.
(I had the single, drain plug version, but it only lasted one season before I lost it running at high speed.)

And I got a wrap quote yesterday. Being from Louisiana, I have never had to tow in the snow. Survived...

...lined up its extraction from storage. End of April can't come soon enough!

Registered her and the new trailer for the very first time. Put my new equipment in the boat; dock lines, fenders, anchor, etc., and unpacked and installed the new mooring cover. Oh, and installed the obligatory Yamaha decal on my truck. A few steps closer to being ready for the water.

I removed the decals buffed and shined her. Also replaced the pissers and bilge outlets with ada racing. And replaced a grab handle. Then put her back in storage the season can't get here soon enough.

Finished my first mod to the boat, mounted the NOCO charger permanently. Left some room between it and the batt switches for the upcoming Blue Seas fuse block.

I like the Yamaha sticker on your truck. Where did you get it?

Officially put the name on the boat! Big Lightning fan, and winning the Stanley Cup this past year made it even better. 72164054-104B-4A3A-92D3-E3E772C04573.jpeg

Took the battery charger off after topping off the batteries over the weekend. I use the same charger on my truck occasionally so I don't want it installed in the boat permanently. I then sat on the swim deck and dreamed a little about floating on the water. I then covered her back up and told her bye for now and shut the garage door.

Did you add the grey paint at the bottom of the hull below the black........It looks awesome and I want to do the same thing, but not with antifouling paint. Your's looks like it's the actual color of the gelcoat? I hate my white hull against the black on my 2019 ar 195.

Got her registration numbers displayed and her name is all official-like. Looking forward to a nicer day to get on the water for her final christening.

And this will go in tomorrow, weather permitting.

New domed registration numbers put on, as well as finally installed ridesteady. It's going to be cool tomorrow so it'll have to wait another weekend before I give it a try.20210312_110000.jpg20210312_114539.jpg20210312_114921.jpg20210312_120336.jpg20210312_135118.jpg20210312_135121.jpg20210312_135124.jpg20210312_141830.jpg20210312_161345.jpg20210312_161436.jpg20210312_161454.jpg20210312_180029.jpg20210312_180126.jpg20210312_180147.jpg

Nice Job and great pics and lettering. That is a great color combination. Gotta love spring mods..you had me scared for a second when I saw the port module not fully mounted hanging over the port throttle cable..? Nice clean install. Once you go Ridesteady you'll never look back..Enjoy!

Ha, that was just during the install. They're mounted with water resistant and heavy duty velcro. My ballast tanks are right behind there, so didn't wanna risk screwing into them. If it doesn't hold or something like that I'll get super short stainless screws.

Today I installed my infinity speakers and amp. Details in the marine electronics section.VID_20210313_104503453_exported_159756_1615677370494.jpg

Need the rain to stop so I can make the maiden voyage, but it made for a productive weekend!

-Outfitted the boat with all coast guard required safety gear.

-Installed the tall VeVe trailer guides and added the blue covers w/foam for rub protection. I decided to go with the under-frame option and just forward of the boat buckles. I matched the width to the boat’s 102” beam for a snug guide, since the foam and flex of the posts should provide enough wiggle room at the widest point.

- Installed a chene type anchor in the bow locker with 100 ft of 3/8” hi-viz green line. Still need to lock wire one shackle to finish that up. The stock was a few inches too short for the stowage mount, so I hose clamped some vinyl tubing to the ends to MacGyver a setup that will stay in place in the mount. Will have to monitor how that holds up.

-Installed a NOCO Genius GenPro 10x2 charger on the bulkhead next to the battery switches and dvsr. Found the red loop of wire on dvsr and snipped/rewired to house battery bus, so the DVSR should do its thing when the battery switches are on and let the NOCO function properly when the battery switches are off and the charger is plugged in at the storage unit.
