Dryer sheets?

Mice hate them, never really had a problem with the boat but it’s cheap insurance. We had an issue with a mouse in my wife’s old jeep, put some dryer sheets under the seats and never saw the mouse again.

I'll be heading over to my boat tomorrow and putting some dryer sheets inside. There is evidence of rodents in my indoor facility. I'll try anything to keep them from eating my wiring.

I replaced the oil and filters in my boat and waverunners, four engines in all. Props to my wife for buying me an electric oil extractor from west marine many years ago. This time around I didn’t warm up the engines / oil by running them on a hose so it took over 30 minutes to remove the oil from each engine. The pump ran for over two hours straight and without issue.

Last trip out for the season up here in PA. Took Padre out for some good early morning fishing. Only one other boat out on the water at Beltzville, the water was glass. With no kids around, I was able to bring out my new fly rod and mess around with that. Lots of smaller catches, nothing huge.

Removed the top of the tower, washed it up, found a gouge in the keel guard with just a light scratch beneath and put it in the shop for the winter. As soon as I get a few things caught up I’ll work on diagnosing the port engine issue & replacing the keel guard.

@Babin Farms , if you think it’s worthy the effort to remove and reinstall consider making a warranty claim with keel guard, they replaced a similarly damaged one like that for me with a phone call and email of the damage while installed on my boat/pwc.

Yep, plan on calling them next week.

Put her to bed for the winter

I like the pole setup with the straps up high. The dealer didn’t demo mine that way. Do you have the mooring cover underneath as well? I need a wsy to keep the poles from denting the mats. Someone is going to get a gem of a boat. Mine is indoors with the mooring cover. I msy switch it out to the shipping cover.

No my mooring cover is in the garage drying/airing out before I put it in its bag. It has been raining here over the last few days. Put a 3/4 x 1' x 1' plywood on a larger rag under them. Snow rolls right off of it for the most part unless it is a sloppy mess then I have a roof rake I go around.

When the weather breaks I have to put in new fencing and a new drive. Was supposed to do that this fall but life got in the way.

Why a jackstand instead of using the trailer stand?

Finally had some time to wrap up the seadek install. This stupid flip down seat/step took more time to strip the ancient hydroturf than it did to strip/prep/lay the seadek on the rest boat combined. I had to resort to using an oscillating tool and a rubber wheel to finally get it clean. Holy crap.

I removed the starboard jet pump to clear a stuck pine cone center, relaunched boat took it for 40 minute drive and got it onto my boat lift

I finally got around to fixing several little items:
3A Breaker for the Sump
2 torn breaker reset boots
New switch for the blower
Replaced the ladder rubberband thing. The one I got on Amazon looked this bad after about 3 months

I also pulled the Starboard Pump to check its condition before installing the Thrust Vectors and Lateral Thrusters.

Are there supposed to be 2 of these plastic washers? I'm thinking one might have been lost when the PO installed the old TVs

I also can't find the part for these plastic steering bushings
