@Bill D EWWWW people are not going to be happy in Ttown ! I see yours is dated for 2018. It's because of where your first letter in your last name falls with when you have to register again. Mine is always October.
The Alabama boat registration system is on a staggered basis. The first letter of an individual's last name determines the month of renewal. The renewal months in which a vessel owner shall register his vessel(s) is indicated below:
January - A, D
February - B
March- C, E
April - F, G, N
May-H, O
June-M, I
July- P, L
August-J, K, R
September-Q, S, T
October-U, V, W, X, Y, Z and all registered under company names. All dealers and liveries.
I finally got a new OEM mooring cover before they stop making it. YSPlza advised they only make the charcoal now. It looks good but is definitely tighter than the old cover. I had a hard time getting the straps snapped around the tie-down loops; but know it will stretch out a bit in time. I also replaced the gas struts on the engine hatch as it started falling on me when working in there. Gaskets inside the oil caps also started falling out (staying with the oil cooler), so I replaced with new gaskets as well.
Replaced the batteries with some interstate AGMs. Also replaced the iridium spark plugs with new ones after burning off the fogging oil. Almost forgot about the new Fulton f2 trailer Jack and new (too me) black cover.
It is a Palram Arcadia. I have two of them back to back. 16' + 16'. (32' total length) I had to slightly modify mine with feet at the base that raised it 18" and came inward so I could mount it on my driveway that was slightly narrower than the width. http://palramapplications.com/product/arcadia-5000/
Lots of prices out there but you are looking around $2200-$2800 each. Pretty pricey.
We purchased from YachtBriteSigns.com They we're fast and very friendly. They inadvertently transposed the numbers and when I asked about it after receiving them they were so apologetic and overnigted a new set the same day.
This is what we ordered with the font and the two tone color for our boat.
