I think we call that a game changer.

Why didn’t I do it on day 1.

Which did you get, and was it direct fit?

This was the one I got and it was a direct fit. I just had to spread the out the opening in the center by about a 1/2”. I whacked it with a 3# sledge and a block of wood.

Was there supposed to be a link in there lol?

I said "Hi" to mine late Thursday night when I needed something for her big sister out of storage. At that point I realized I made the mistake of not covering her up while in storage and now she's filthy dirty. My daughter went with me and said, "I've never seen the Yamaha that dirty". She was correct with that statement because I knew I hadn't either. It's gonna bug me till I can get back over to her to give her some much needed attention. We've got a few more loose ends to tie up with the Sea Ray and new dock and then I can turn my attention to the Yamaha.

I helped my son clean off the remaining adhesive from the keel guard that was removed a few weeks ago. I also removed the bow scuff plate (really handy if you are worried about the bow roller or boat buddy/ramp n clamp scratching up the hull or if you want to hide scratches previously made) and cleaned up the area underneath the scuff plate.

The boat is ready to take to the shop. One of the few times I am grateful for a low(er) market value since my insurance deductible is 1% if it.

Started my Seadek optional mats install! Figured I'd start at the bow and work my way back.

Thanks @JetBoatPilot

I managed to get 2X A&B on before I had to fix dinner.

I have the same kit ready and waiting to go on.

We spend a lot of time tired together with other boats. And since most people tend to step on the most slippery part of the hull, I thought that it was a must have.

Same here!! The rear corners were the worst. I may or may not have credit carded myself after some adult beverages. :blackeye:

New tires (Goodyear Endurance) last night and then took her to the dealer this morning to get the new fenders put on. 180 mile round trip to the dealer and the new tires are awesome. Pulls much better, less bounce and I'm almost certain my mpg is up noticeably from the bias ply tires. We'll see when I fill up.

These tires keep moving up on my short list of stuff to buy.
