The official "What did you do to your jet boat today" thread.

Since I used REJEX on the exterior/hull, I figured I'd extend that labor of love to the interior and Rejex'd the interior and 303'd the seats. Boy am I feeling it today! If it wasn't a seat , porous or textured it got Rejex'd!

Man that stuff adds a hell of a shine and excellent repellent!

Finally finished the VHF install. It's the GX1600 connected to the Garmin 64CV via NMEA 0183.

The placement of the antenna mount allows me to put the mooring cover on with minimal contact.

Of course... here you go: Amazon.com: CorrosionX 61002 Rejex 16oz Bottle: Sports & Outdoors

You apply it like wax, but it's not a wax. Depending on how "gunky" your unit is, you'll want to thoroughly clean the surface, some guys use dawn dish soap first. Once dry, apply it like wax, a little bit goes a long ways, let it set up for at least 15 minutes. I try to let it set as long as my patience allows. Then wipe down the Rejex residue. You'll see and feel an immediate difference. The key is to let is "set up" after you buff it out. Rejex recommends to let it sit for 6 hrs minimum, the longer you let it set up the better protection.

I did my windshields as well and man that stuff is great, they're right with their slogan, nothing sticks but the shine!

I changed out the bilge and bypass outlets.

I was pretty shocked. When I was chatting with the PO doing the paperwork he talked as if they used it all the time. which I guess they could just an hour or 2 at a time.

I wonder if it's a situation where they don't have far to boat to wherever they'd tie up? They WOULD be "using it all the time", but they wouldn't be putting very many hours on the engines. There are quite a few folks I know that this would describe.

I got the idea from Rob's Yamaha Jetboat DIY. He's on the board here too. They came from ADA racing. It cost me $50 shipped for all 3. You need the 3/4" bilge outlet, and 1/2" bypass outlets. It's easy to do. I did it in less than an hour. Watch Rob's video here ->

It's very possible. I know the lake they used it at isn't very big. Looking at the RPM range it looks like it was primarily used for cruising around and a little bit of tow sports. I have about 7 different types of tow ropes that were in the boat when I got it, so I assumed they did a lot of towing.

@rkim808 I used a 1/4" starboard, cut with a jigsaw and routed the edges. Relatively simple install.

What kind ofAnchor is that?
