Just singing to the choir, but I had to get it out of my system to a group that would understand.I think it’s been 25 straight days of rain in Louisville. Just waiting another week for the river to calm down. Thanks for listening!

Preaching to the (Louisville) Choir here as well. Actually had lunch on the patio today, no rain in sight.

Now if it will just hold out for a bit and we can get back to good boating!

Keeping my fingers crossed! That's a nice looking boat by the way.

Thanks. We like it. Easy to own, easy to tow, easy to store. Maybe I should name it "Makin it Easy" ?!?!

Where on the Ohio do you boat?

We put in at Cox's park in Louisville a few times a year. Mostly Date nights, and short weekend days when time is limited. Also spend at least one weekend a year at my Aunts house in Wesport, KY. Water is much clearer up that way.

I always put in at Captain's Quarters. Have you tried there? No current to deal with and is usually either free or $15.00 to launch. When I'm on my own, I anchor at 12 mile island. If with wife and friends, we're cruising (she always has to be moving) and usually eating at Cunninghams.

Haven't put in at Captains Quarters. Might try that this summer.

Haven't been to Cunninghams in quite some time either.

Here's to hoping you all get to make it out soon! I cant say that we have been getting much rain "this week" but the wind has been pretty prevalent.

Only had our new boat out once due to all the flooding! Not a good year to buy a new boat ?. Have a permanent camp site 5 minutes from Cagles mill lake and can’t get on it yet ?

That would be a drag having a new boat and not being able to get on it. Hang in there! I'm probably just going to sit in mine, have a few beers and pretend I'm on the lake.

Neighbor and I did this last night. Was cleaning/putzing around in the garage. Needed a hand to do something. Ended up hanging out for a couple beers and just chilling in the boat and chatting.

Or the other BS of sunny a couple days during the week and storming all weekend. Might have to use up some sick days myself ;-)

I was down in your neck of the woods last week. Spent a week on Douglas Lake. Was at the cabin from Saturday to Saturday. Managed to get 4 days boating in there. The other 3 were rained out. Two of the days boating were "1/2 days" in the morning or evening as we dodged raindrops.

I'm ready to go back when I can actually spend some good time on the water there!

We were able to skate out Sunday afternoon for a bit at concord. Soooo much debris in the water. I wanted to goto Tellico but the woman just wanted to get on the water so closest ramp it was. I used the storms saturday to install the lucky 13 cone and Cobra steering.

@sunbyrned ......Looked like a nice day yesterday.....NOPE.....Got everyone out on the water for a few hours, but BARELY, and I mean BARELY, got the boat back on the trailer, people in the truck, and cover on the boat before the sky's opened up and dumped water on us.

I think I'm just going to assume we live in Florida for the rest of the season, and plan on rain for EVERY SINGLE OUTING we go on. We haven't had a clear day on the lake yet this season :(

Sounds like you had a great day compared to me. I first went to the lake, it was flooded and people were swimming to their boats because the docks were down. Everyone and there brother were out there and thought this will be a nightmare when the storm hits. So, went to the river, full of sticks and dead people, sucked up something about a mile into it, limped back to the ramp with issues. I just posted about it looking for help. UGH!
