You really have to try to end up like this. I suspect either 1) a complete idiot, or 2) got mad at not being able to back up

(Saw on facebook....not pics I took)

WTF? Years of being a tractor trailer instructor for the Army and this is just sad :( Reminds me of these people I've seen two recoveries in a row at my ramp in an Escalade... Clueless

Wait...... everybody doesn't park like this?

Took me about 10 seconds to realize the guy is still hooked up to the trailer. I wonder if it straightened out once he returned... just turn around the other way right?

He’s getting a new trailer tomorrow!

You haven’t lived until you do donuts in the parking lot with your old MFI [HASH=3650]#@$&$[/HASH]# trailer the day before you pick your new baby!

Probably drunk as said earlier and with that in mind, I wonder if they were able to recover the boat from the bottom of the lake?

Drunk, first time driving, blind, and a bit hollow between the ears, maybe. That said, I sell and service regular trailers, and I’ve seen some interesting damage, with sheepishly vague explanations to describe the incident. Many bent A-frames have been repaired by us, but they’re normally due to an actual traffic accident. This is just amazing, though. Lol

Probably got a ticket for taking two parking spaces.

I bet he got more than that... He's parked next to, what appears to be, a "No Parking" sign. I think the fact that there are no white lines where he parked confirms it.?

Backing up while on the phone texting and drunk o_O

Possibly female???

I'm going to be in trouble for saying that. For the record my wife backs the boat trailer like a champ.

Kind of looks like I rolled back from an uphill parking spot when no one was aroun. Probably left it in gear and went out on their boat...lucky it jack knifed and didn’t end up worse.

Come on guys, this is the new 2021 model trailer. They are made this way to help Millennials "drive"forward to the waters edge because that is a much easier way to see where the boat is going.

That'll pound right out. "my dad's a TV repairman . . .he has an awesome set of the tools!" I am thinking Spicoli can fix it . . . (younger generation may not get this reference).

At least we know the "bass cat" aluminum trailer has some horizontal flex.

Our other lake house had a community ramp 2 lots over and we could sit on our dock on Friday afternoons and Sunday afternoons and have a ball. The best was when a jet ski backed down with a jeep. They backed in and unhooked the trailer strap. How ever the rear straps were still attached. Ski was floating really nice and the kid gave it some gas and the left rear strap snapped. The right one held. Took off and pulled his buddy and his jeep in the water. Dad showed up a few hours later PISSED. Wreaker had to pull the jeep out. Priceless entertainment.
