What works the best for removing old registration stickers

Just did this, get a brand new razor blade (utility knife blade) and use it (by itself) to peel up the sticker. It'll glide between the fiberglass and sticker if you're patient. Once the sticker is up use some fingernail polish remover to remove any remaining glue.

Heat gun, then acetone or debond

Putty knife, start in the corner. Then goo gone. A little soap and water to clean where you applied the goo gone then stick the new one on.

X2 for a heat gun and Debond

Blade and WD40 or vinegar, just get the edge up and then pull carefully. Use WD40 or vinegar to remove any goo

I use this on a drill for any decal removal. Doesn’t have to spin fast but keep it moving to not burn paint or gel coat. For any adhesive reside I use brake cleaner on a rag.
