Where do we post FREE stuff?

You know, kinda like a "Pay it Forward" thread?

Only this will be a "Come get this crap outta my garage" thread.

I have a bunch of water sports stuff...camping gear...Disney videos and old Playboys - no, wait, I'm keeping those, that just have to go and I'm too lazy to have a garage sale or even sell on eBay.

I came across some stuff that was practically brand new. It's my wife I tell ya...she just buys stuff all the time. Like all those reloading supplies she came home with one day. Go figure.

Start a thread! If it gets plenty of activity, we will make a forum for the donation or gift stuff. Post up what you got!

Post it here....but if you are actively looking to make it gone....we use "Freecycle" to get rid of stuff that is of marginal value for resale, but someone would want! You post, first person that wants it gets it. And you tell them when it will be on the curb/porch or how ever you want it gone. When we moved to NC, the stuff people would take became almost a sport! "Lets try this on freecycle....20 hangars"....."I'll take them!".....LOL

I'm not sure yet....I have so much "stuff" in my garage that I can't wade through it to see what's all there. I keep finding things as I start to dig through it and I'm resolved to get the Spring Cleaning started earlier this year.
The "Freecycle" idea sounds good, I really don't want the hassle of packing it up for shipping if I can avoid it.

I started cleaning out the boat last time we went to the river. Gave away several practically new wetsuits that my kids have grown out of. Fulls, shorties, sleeves, we had it all. They found a good home. I know I have a bunch of other watersports stuff in the garage....and man do I have a boatload of camping gear we no longer use. Before we bought the Toyhauler we did a lot of tent camping and must have one of everything, if not double. Typical of us though...can't find the camp stove? Buy another. That's our MO.

First thing I need to sell are the dirt bikes that don't get used. That will clear up some space.
