I can say that Yamaha has truly peaked my interest with the new 2015 models. Thinking about the new features I think the Quiet Cruise is what I would want most if I had to choose. I am curious what others are thinking.

(And I suppose Yamaha would be interested in our response since we drive what features they add every year.):)

Wow....that is a tough one....I was split 50/50 between the rudder and quiet cruise, but went with the rudder....but quiet cruise was a VERY close 2nd....and my wife would probably vote for Quiet as she drives less.

I can't even vote right away.....the quiet cruise and free board change for me. I need to think about it.

The free board change is big for me. There are some HUGE boats out by us. I'm talking 50+ footers that put out some massive wakes. With the low bow, I have to be very careful that I don't nose right into the waves. So between that and the the quiet cruise it's tough. The keel is closely behind.

Honestly, the three of them together make me want to upgrade....though I'm selling my boat and I don't think I'll be back into a new one for a while.

I don't think these boats are quite that loud. And I think they already handle great. Definitely the touch screen for me.

The only thing I don't like is the double captain chairs. I like the lounger, but I can see how that's an issue with the new wet bar.

I put quiet cruise, but it's the folding seat storage that really got me!

Oh yeah, speedling. I forgot about the hinged seats. This is my first poll and I don't know if proper but I am going to add that to the list.

Mine would be.

1. Design
2. Tower
3. Color
4. Connext
5. Hinged seats/captain chair

Out of the choices above I went with the Quiet Cruise, but there I love them all and I also love the wet storage.

I voted hinged seats which includes the rear storage!!! Really like that.

For me it's a toss-up between the Quiet Cruise and the hinged seats. (I chose seats in the poll.)

The touch-screen, for all it's "cool" factor, scares me.

Quiet#1
Hinged seats a close #2
Where is the choice for behind the seat back storage? That is pretty cool.

Not to hi-jack your thread @buckbuck . . . . but you forgot Bar area, Head/head door redesign, Tower redesign, extra 6" LOA, etc. . . .

Add those and include an ALL OF THE ABOVE button or allow multiple selection so I can vote. . . . = )

For me, there are so many new things that it's hard to say. I can tell you for me, the hinged seats are a must. I really hate moving the seats around every time I need to get something. The extra storage in the back has to be great too. I don't like how loud it is so that will be nice. I have no trouble maneuvering my boat around w/o fins but I bet the keel and fin are going to make a big, slow speed difference. I love that tower and color. Damn, I love everything! I need to trade mine in! :-)

Yeah, you guys are right. I should have put more of the new features in the poll.
I bet some big shots at Yamaha are watching this to know what they should do next year with the 21 and 19 foot hulls.

Let's see...2016 212X...
quiet cruise
hinged seats
touch screen
rear storage for wet gear
articulating keel
Wake Wedge
ability to fill individual ballast bags to get boat to lean
easy fold tower
higher free board
on board air inflator
mini bar
glove box with USB for charging phones
redesigned clean out plug
Ramp n Clamp on trailer

What am I forgetting?

I hope this isn't considered heresy but I don't want the keel or rudder on my next boat. I will take the high speed spins over low speed handling.
