Yamaha 242 Limited 2010 rear ports issue

Does anyone know what the round black rubber ports are for located in the Jet outlet area?
This is in the cut out section where the jet pumps outputs are. Left hand side of each drive.
I get some water in the boat lately and feel water might be coming on the Port one.
See picture of the item and note a gasket sticking out of the flexible rubber outlet.
Can't find any info on these from the Yamaha details of the boat web site.
Not sure how to even open up and fix it.
There are 3 bolts but must be something inside the inner rear area. Not sure I can reach in there anyway.

Exhaust outlet. What is this part?. You can access that area by pulling the cleanout tray, around the cleanout plugs. Remove the round inspection cover between the plugs to loosen the big hose clamps holding it down to the cleanout plug sleave.

Thanks so much for this. Not sure if I'm going to be able to get at it to repair but it could most likely be the source of the water leak. It happens when at dock where this port is below the water line.
At last I have something positive to look into. Tks

It’s not the source of your leak. The silicone doughnut is just excess silicone that’s finally coming off from the assembly process. The most likely source of your bilge water is the clean out tray. Use this sites search engine there are lots of threads on this subject, there’s no reason on these boats to not have a dry bilge.

So you think that this plate for the exhaust outlet wouldn't be the cause of a leak which only seams to happen while tied up at my dock? That's a fairly big piece of silicone that came from somewhere. Not the seal for the inside of the plate then from where?
Where in the clean out tray can water leak in. Taking out the clean out plugs, there is no water setting on top of them?

Unless the bolts holding the exhaust flange came loose, which it does not look like that happened, the silicone between the flange and the hull could not come out.

As @Bruce says in the link @zipper provided for you, he wished Yamaha would tell people this when they buy their boats because it happens so often.

Often times the clean out tray is not sealed, so any water that gets in the tub, whether it’s the clean out plugs or water coming up the drain, will drain down into the bilge.

There are some other areas that water can get in, deck drain fittings and lines, or come to think of it if you have not changed out the deck drain scupper that could be where it is coming in from. You need to check that asap, because if that stock plastic drain breaks / fails while you’re on the water you could very well loose your boat!!!

But I’ll say if you remove the clean out tray and reach down into the aft bilge and grab onto that drain line / fitting and give it tug that would be a good test. There have been those that have done that and had it break off in their hand.
