Yamaha Extended Warranty Question

If you know for sure it's impeller damage, I seriously doubt it would be covered. I'm sure they would deny.

Just seems strange to me that you'd need a new impeller after 9 months....my 2005's impellers were in great shape when I pulled her last year, I'd I've sucked in plenty of branches/wood/plastic over time....but pulling the pump is easy enough so you can better eyeball the situation....

IMHO you will not find a better impeller than OEM, especially for what you are doing. Our OEMs are specially designed for these boats, have substantially longer blades than ANY Solas or Skat (other than special order $$$$$ $hit).
It is a COMPLETE NO-BRAINER in my book. Again, MHO.

Best prices I found:

You want part #25. If you call/fill out the form with a request for partial refind based on actual shipping cost, I have always received some $10 back from them. Fast shipping, best price. Let me know if find a better deal!

Yeah I am 99% sure its the impeller. I can physically feel the chips/rough edges on impeller through the clean out plug. I figured it wouldn't be covered but no harm in asking I suppose.

If you can look up from the impeller intake (under the boat) you get a very good view of the complete impeller condition, and can possibly visualize any blade balance issues.
Best if you have a good flashlight-
