I can see it happening. someone was power loading or driving it up and then may leaning over checking to see if it is on then bumped the throttle without kill switch.

Looks like the boat went left of the trailer with a lot of speed as the pole on that side is pushed in.

Interesting. Maybe. But I would think you would hear it hitting the back of the truck bed before it got to far.

That was my initial thought as well. Almost looks like somebody hammered their throttles by mistake and the boat took off towards land. I dont think the boat has the thrust needed to get to where its at in the pic without a good running start.

Same thought, and I'm wondering if the truck was there to pick up their boat, when the Yamaha came in a lot too hot and ended up there

Looks to me that is a single axle aluminum I-beam trailer and a single set of bunks. Not the one for that boat.

If it was me, I would NOT admit it. If it was not my fault I would tell the whole story.

I don’t see anyway it could be the truck driver’s fault, unless he or she was sky high on something while backing down the ramp.

In any case, it’s a great pic to warn people not to loiter at the ramp, where the water meets the land (aka the “kill zone” imho).

obvious that the boat went UP the ramp quite a way and wedged itself into the side of the tiuck as well as the dock

My guess is that this was a theft gone awry.

We can all see that it’s the wrong trailer, and it appears to me it’s late model boat. The operator obviously came in on the left side of the left trailer guide, either way too fast or gassed it hard, looks like they were in a hurry.
