New to the forum and Jetboats. I'm currently in the market for a SX230, so any advice would be geatly appreciated.
Thanks!

glad you found us! I saw your other posts so feel free to continue to ask questions,

Welcome aboard and good luck on the seach! The SX230 is a perfect boat. The body style changed in '07 until it was modified and re-engined in 2010 and designated a 240 when they added 6 inches in upper hull length. The '05 may be either a non HO (high output) with 140HP engines, or the HO with 160HP engines. I believe the '06 had nothing but the HO engines. Jump on in, the water is fine!

Welcome aboard. Glad you found us. Good luck with your search.

Welcome aboard! We bought a 2007 AR230 last summer and LOVED every second that we were out on it.

Be sure to check that you can get the clean out plugs out without any issues, look for other signs of obvious neglect and be sure to take her for a test ride!

Good luck in your search!

EDIT: If you update your location in your profile maybe a member located near you will volunteer to go with you and take a look at the boat you are considering.

Welcome!! and good luck on finding your boat. Purchased my 2008 last February and have been a believer ever since!!!

Welcome Aboard!

The Sx230 is an awful boat......What you need is an AR230!! =)

Once you see how much fun these boats are, if you don't have a tower now, you will want one!

Oh, and :Welcome:

All I have to say is test drive AR's and SX's of various sizes! You're the one spending the money!

Welcome to the forums!!!

I would definitely agree with this! I'm trying to decide if I want tower or PP first, I think I'm leaning toward the tower. Hmmmm...

Never felt the need for a tower. I guess it just depends what you are into and where you boat. A tower for me would be a problem getting under some bridges.

Welcome aboard!!! A tower for me is one big speaker rack!!! And a place to put my lines.... Good luck on your search.
