Grill on table mount?

Anyone done this? I've seen people using magma grills but it seems like most people are using a new mount. I'd like to do something using the existing table mounts on my sx230.

I have a magma grill and I just use the table off back platform and set grill in there.

I have a 2006 sx230

here is my setup
the mount goes over top of the table leg and is secured to the grill via screws

I had a rail mount for my old boat...I just stick the post inside the table leg.

I found my pics from an old post. Here is the grill mount. The pvc makes a tighter fit in the table leg.

The black cone fits FIRMLY onto the the newer table legs (2015 + models). I drilled a hole and added a safety pin through the cone and leg... great set up.
We were just grilling in the Gulf of Mexico a few weeks ago (watching the Blue Angles @ Pensacola, FL) and never once worried about it falling off into the water.
